Our Mission

For the purpose of preserving the historic landmark Hazard Castle and the botanical grounds for future generations. The development of an appropriate use for promoting and enjoying sports of every kind and the arts. We will create an educational hospitality, community and business learning center that cultivates an environment for reflection and social intercourse, stimulating a path to positive educational, economical, social and business solutions for our local community and the world.

In the mean time we are looking for your comments to improve on last years race. Join the Race Commitee or volunteer for events. To be successful we need approxiamtely 30 volunteersfor for our road race.

WE WANT YOU! Volunteers/Members needed.

2012 Annual Membership Fees (goal 85 - 100 members)

Family Membership $50

Individual Membership $25

 2012 Immediate Budget Needs - $10,000 plus (attorney fees (501 (c) 3, insurance, licenses, website, advertising/marketing (constant contact, accounts payable, awards, rental fees, etc.)

Friends of Hazard Castle's Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors, members, volunteers and participants for their support.

Many of you have been with us from the beginning . Please knowthat because of your generosity and  continued support, we  have been able to raise historic awareness in our community. Our historic lecture series has spawned a new interest in the revival of the defunct Narragansett Hisotical Society. e are proud to be the catalyst for this new found interest in Narragansett's history and the preservation of our history for future generations.

There is still work to be done. After two years of service a number of our members are stepping down. We are actively looking for people who are interested in history and the potential for its significant impact tourism and economic development.
