Question of the Day: I thought Hazard Castle sold?

Yes, the Catholic Diocese of Providence has entered into a sales agreement with The Middlebridge School. However, there is "more to the picture than meets the eye". Friends of Hazard Castle (FOHC) can not comment further due to confidentiality. Just know that there is a very valid reason for FOHC to Carry On, (CS&N), lets say it might have something to do with something to do with The Trees (Rush). We are eager to share good news with you and hope to make a public announcement @ Cupcake Madness on March 25, 2012. There is a very valid reaason why we are moving forward in 2012 and beyond. Great things are coming, we will need your support..It's time we step up as a community and make a difference together, help us help you. We are currently accepting applications to be consider for our 2013 executive committee. We are looking for individuals with a positve passion for our town and history. Out going, friendly, upbeat, cheerful professional people who want to make a difference in the lives of children, their families and those who visit our beautiful sea side town. There will be an interview process and we are seeking a board of 13 members. Special interest in those professional willing to donate, graphic design work, no-profit, legal, historic preservation experience, grant writing, website design (high quality - world class level) and green building. Oh and of course angel donors. We are faced with an incredible under taking and 100 years of "friend finding" family events will not raise the kind of finacing to save this historic landmark for our community...If you've been watching and waiting and can afford to do so, now is the time for you to step forward with your check book and help FOHC make a profound difference in the future of our community.
